Outreach Sports Programs for DISD
The Dallas Park and Recreation Department currently partners with Dallas ISD to provide athletic programming for elementary schools and 6th graders in middle schools. The partnership has been in existence since the fall of 2011 and consists of the following three sports: soccer, basketball and baseball. Currently the program has over 60 schools participating and is continuing to grow.

The focus of the partnership is to encourage the importance of students to develop their skills not only on the athletic field but in the classroom as well. For more information on how your school can participate in the program, please contact the Youth Services Division.
