1. Do I have to use a specific caterer for my event?

We have no catering restrictions at the White Rock Lake rental buildings, you may use the caterer of your choice.

2. How many tables and chairs come with the buildings?

Winfrey Point and Big Thicket have minimal tables and chairs available for your reservation. Please contact 214-670-8740 for correct number of tables and chairs that may be available for your reservation. No linens are provided.

3. What is the occupancy of Winfrey Point?

The occupancy of Winfrey Point is 271. 200 can be seated comfortably.

4. What are the kitchen amenities at Winfrey Point?

The Winfrey Point kitchen has a stove and a refrigerator/freezer.

5. Is alcohol allowed at the White Rock Rental Facilities?

Yes, with a $50 non-refundable alcohol permit application, and a $600 refundable deposit. You must also have Dallas Police present at the time of consumption. Please call 214-670-0557 to arrange a police officer. Cost is $45-$50 per hour.

6. Are the buildings available on holidays?

The buildings are available on all holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day and the 4th of July. Weekend rental rates apply to all holidays.

7. Can we use the fireplace or have candles?

The fireplaces are no longer functioning and cannot be used. Candles can used with approval of the Dallas Fire Department who can be contacted at 214-670-6803.

8. Do you have a sound system we can use?

No, users must provide their own sound system and A/V equipment.
