Annual report tells how parks and recreation programs enrich Dallas communities
Using photos and infographics, Dallas Park and Recreation Department's annual report vividly captures how parks, conservation programs, and recreational activities create desirable and livable Dallas neighborhoods.
Focusing on fiscal year 2017-2018, the report includes the department's national accreditation in the park and recreation industry, record-breaking event and program attendance, unique health and wellness activities, new recreational facilities and trails, and innovative environmental management strategies.
Nearly 30 million people participated in city recreation center programs, aquatics activities, special events, and visited parks, trails, athletic fields, community pools, golf and tennis courses, Bahama Beach Waterpark and Fair Park.
