Beckley Saner Recreation Center is located in Oak Cliff just east of I35 at the corner of Beckley and Saner. In 1953 the Park department bought an outdated hanger from Love Field and had just acquired the land for Beckley-Saner Park. So why not move the hanger to the park and make it a recreation center? And that is how Beckley-Saner recreation center came into being! It was named Beckley-Saner because of the streets it was located on. Beckley-Saner recently re-opened its doors to the public after undergoing major renovations.
