    Jurassic Quest event bills itself as "America's largest and most realistic dinosaur event," where guests walk through the Cretaceous, Jurassic, and Triassic periods and experience for themselves what it was like to be among living, breathing dinosaurs. With over 80 true to life-size dinosaurs (some are animatronic), paleontologists have painstakingly replicated every detail, whether their prehistoric counterpart had scaly skin, feathers or fur, Jurassic Quest has spared no expense in bringing this realism to life! Kids 2-12 $22/$36; Adults $22; Seniors 65+ $20; Kids under 2 free. $2 discount for active duty Police, Firefighters, Paramedics, active & inactive Military, their spouses & kids (must show ID). Parking is $10 or ride DART Green Line to Fair Park Station.

  2. Nature Walk in Great Trinity Forest

    Join Master Naturalist and Trinity Forest expert, Ben Sandifer as he leads us on a nature walk at the Great Trinity Forest. Focus will be on migratory wintering birds and their habitats. Expect a mile or two of walking on paved and uneven natural surfaces as we look for ducks, sparrows, a Great Blue Heron rookery, raptors, beaver lodges, and more. Bring water, binoculars and a camera for birds and wildlife. Wear long pants and sturdy shoes.

    Do you enjoy sewing and sewing in groups? Then come sew with us at Project Sew as we share the art & skill of sewing! Presented by the Dallas Park and Recreation Department, Project Sew brings novices and expert seamstresses together once a month to sew in a fun and creative environment. Project Sew is free and open to the public with a City of Dallas Recreation Center Pass. Join us for the whole day or a few hours. Come and go as you please but don't forget your sewing machine, materials and your lunch. Registration and City of Dallas Annual Recreation Pass is required.
