    Register now (deadline is February 22nd) for the 2017 Big "D" Showtime Showdown Boy's Youth Basketball League! Age groups and location for games (7 games guaranteed - All game times 6:00 - 9:00 PM): 8 & under at JJC (Juanita J. Craft Recreation Center) on Tuesdays; 10 & under at MLK (Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center) on Mondays; 12 & under at MLK on Tuesdays; 14 & under at MLK on Wednesdays; 16 & under at MLK on Thursdays. All championship games will be on Friday, April 21 at MLK. (*Coaches meeting February 22 at MLK at 7:00 PM)

  2. Women's Vignette Art Fair Presented by Texas Women's Caucus for Art

    April 5, 2017 - April 9, 2017, All Day @ Fair Park Women's Building

    Vignette is an alternative art fair that showcases the work of creative female, and female identifying, minds that have been under recognized by art institutions and establishments. This satellite fair will take place during Dallas Arts Week, April 5th – 9th, at the former Women’s Museum Building in Fair Park. It will be professionally curated by Chelsea Pierce and include all disciplines of fine art. All programming for the fair will be filtered through the lens of a theme chosen by the curator, and will include an opening event, and a series of panel discussions.

  4. Eggs-cellent Eggs-travaganza Annual Egg Hunt

    Dallas Park and Recreation Department presents Eggs-cellent Eggs-travaganza Annual Egg Hunt at the following locations: Kiest Recreation Center, 3080 S. Hampton Rd (214-670-1918); Crawford Park, 8700 Elam Rd. (214-670-0959); and Grauwyler Recreation Center (214-670-6302). Free event with food items available for purchase. Please bring your own basket to collect your eggs, and come out and enjoy a variety of interactive activities, pictures with the Bunny, and the largest egg hunt in town!

    April 8, 2017, 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Bachman Indoor Pool

    Free event for the whole family. Participate in water safety games and activities. Lifejacket give-away while they last. Free ice cream from 1-1:30PM. Bring your bathing suit and stay and swim from 3-4PM. Presented in partnership with the Texas Drowning Prevention Alliance, Dallas Fire and Rescue, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
