  1. Artscape & ZimSculpt at the Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Garden

    ZimSculpt is a world-renowned exhibition of modern, Zimbabwean stone sculptures, which runs from April 15 to July 31 at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. The exhibit features over 100 stunning pieces situated throughout the garden, creating an entirely unique experience as you enjoy our beautiful summer blooms. Two of the Zimbabwean artists are in the garden carving new statues, and guests are invited to meet and talk with the artist about their pieces. Every piece in the garden is for sale, as well as all the smaller pieces you find on display in The Marketplace in Pecan Grove.

  2. King Racing Group Thursday Night Crits

    King Racing Group's popular Thursday Night Crits are back on at Fair Park Thursday, March 9 - Thursday, September 14! (Pre-registration closes at 11PM on Wednesdays). Clean off those gears, hop on the saddle, and go fast with us in Fair Park! There will be cash prizes and primes and music provided by Logan deBorde. One of the top cycling promoters in the State of Texas, King Racing Group is known for putting on some of the fastest, most competitive races in the state. KRG's Thursday Night Criterium in Fair Park draws consistent crowds and an average of more than 300 elite and novice amateur racers each week. This year, King Racing introduces chip timing too!

  6. Get Kidz Fit Expo

    A free, fun-filled extravaganza, now in its tenth year, presented by the Dallas Area Coalition to Prevent Childhood Obesity (DACPCO) designed to educate children and their families on wellness and nutrition while engaging them in a range of healthy lifestyle activities.Attendees learn about nutrition and exercise through healthy cooking demonstrations and sporting activities that include:Rock-climbing, Obstacle Course, Basketball, Golf, Tennis, Rowing, Jump Roping, Aerobics/Zumba, Volleyball, Soccer, Strength & Conditioning and more! At booths, stages and Fitstops, a diverse group of volunteers and sponsors provide hands-on opportunities for kids to learn by doing, experiencing simple and fun ways that families can incorporate physical activity and nutritious eating into day-to-day life.

  7. Dog Bowl

    April 30, 2017, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Cotton Bowl Stadium at Fair Park

    Spoil your four-legged fur ball with an afternoon of doggy delights inside Fair Park’s Cotton Bowl Stadium. Dallas’ most historic football field will transform into a super-sized dog park for canines of all sizes to romp and run unleashed! Local dog rescue groups, clubs, and pet related vendors will be located along the sidelines with pet products and information. Water stations and a giant “dip and sip” splash bowls will keep canines cool and quenched, while humans will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments (including beer) and other concessions. If you choose to ride the DART Rail Green Line to the Fair Park Station, please know that non-service animals are allowed on DART only if they are in crates. Owners will be asked to observe all current City of Dallas Dog Park policies while at Fair Park.
