The Dallas Teen Tech Center hosted 39 local teenagers over the weekend for Grammy Camp.
Participants practiced on their vocal performance while they focused on digital music and video production. In addition to working with other aspiring musicians, participants were able to visit with three Texas Chapter Grammy Foundation Board Members to get a firsthand look at what it takes to be in the music industry.
By the end of camp, participants had written a song, produced digital music to accompany the song; and had recorded a music video to highlight everything they had learned.
Participation at the Dallas Teen Tech Center is free with a valid Dallas Recreation Card. Students ages 13-17 are invited to come by during Thanksgiving break, Nov 21-23 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. to explore the center and all that it has to offer. for more information call 214-671-1561.
