Join us at City Hall Plaza on Saturday, October 22, from 4 - 8pm for a FREE, family-friendly Halloween carnival and Glow Party on the Plaza. The fun begins at 4 pm with a costume contest for kids and pets. Enjoy a pumpkin patch, hayrides, face painting, story time, arts and crafts, interactive games, music, entertainment, food trucks and much more.Stick around, once the sun goes down get your groove on, as we host a Glow Party. New this year, enjoy a dance party on the Plaza complete with glow sticks from 7 - 8 pm. Bring the whole family. All are welcome to this free event.

Deck the City Hall is a free, family-friendly holiday festival at City Hall Plaza. It’s all happening Saturday, December 19 from 12-5 p.m. Enjoy music, food trucks, train and carriage rides and photos with Santa. Kids, be sure to visit Santa’s Letter Writing Workshop and don’t miss your chance to ice skate on the Plaza.

Kids are invited to a free citywide Easter Egg Hunt. The City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department is hosting 42 simultaneous Easter Egg hunts at each recreation center around town. It all gets underway Saturday, March 19 at 10 a.m. – noon, with each egg hunt beginning promptly at 11 a.m. In addition to the Easter Egg Hunt, kids ages 12 and under can enjoy free family friendly activities, arts and crafts, and a special visit by Mr. Peter Cottontail. Kids don’t forget to bring your Easter baskets!
