Send a Kid to Camp

The City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department offers a free seven week summer camp at 17 outdoor park locations throughout the city for youth ages 6 to 15. Send A Kid to Camp will begin on Monday, June 13th and operate through Friday, July 29th. Camp will not be held on Monday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. All camp sites operate Monday thru Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Program Benefits
Our camps provide opportunities for children to disconnect from technology and become more physically active. Campers experience success and become more confident by participating in team and individual activities and develop a life skill and interest in something they had little to no experience in. In addition, our campers become more independent by learning to do things on their own all while improving their social skills and making lasting friendships.
Your child will be engaged in a structured and safe environment that provides a variety of physical and educational activities. Activities include arts and craft classes, sports clinics, fitness sessions, cultural and enrichment classes, games, field trips, and much more.

How to register:
Registration is open to all City of Dallas youth ages 6-15 and begins the first day of camp. Space is limited and filled on a first come first served basis. Arrive at the desired camp location on the first day of camp to secure your spot!
